As Senior Director of Educational Partnerships at The Tech Museum of Innovation, Christina O’Guinn currently oversees The Tech Academies and STEM Pathways programs, building a network of model STEM-focused schools, Engineering Education Leaders and cohesive K-career pathways of high-quality STEM opportunities with 10 school districts in San Jose and South Santa Clara County. Christina has nearly 20 years of experience managing STEM education programs, facilitating school re-design efforts, coordinating partnerships, implementing teacher professional development and developing curricula with The Tech Museum of Innovation, NASA Ames Educational Technology Team, Stanford University and Industry Initiatives for Science and Math Education (now Ignited). Christina has taught elementary and middle school in San Jose Title I schools and has worked with expanded learning programs and at the administrative level in Redwood City Title I schools. She earned her MA in Instructional Technology at San Jose State University. Christina is a member of the 2018 Leadership San Jose cohort and represents The Tech on numerous committees including the National STEM Ecosystem, Region 5 STEAM Steering Committee, CA STEM Network, and Campbell Union School District STEAM Committee.
