Paul Werner is the Computer Science CTE Pathway Coordinator for Rocklin High School. He has spoken at the AP Annual Conference, Spring CUE, as well as a number of local and regional conferences on topics such as the effective inclusion of technology, as well as equity and access to those technologies. And while he serves as a Professional Development Coach and in his district Innovation Cohort, Paul’s true passion lies in working with students. This last year Paul used his knowledge and experience to pilot a model of co-planning and co-teaching computer science classes with his Special Education Department Chair. Additionally, he advises the Girls Who Code club, supporting high school females in their pursuit of learning programming, as well as, helping the students to promote interest in robotics, programming, and cyber security to the STEAM Sisters Club (local elementary after school program).
