Rebecca Vyduna is the Director of the STEAM Center at the San Mateo County Office of Education. She has 16 years of experience in education from Kindergarten through grade 12 across public and private school systems nationally and internationally. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois and a M.S. in School Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education. At the San Mateo County Office of Education, Rebecca has held a variety of roles serving school and district leadership. Currently, Rebecca supports a team of STEAM Coordinators to design learner-centered professional development focused on real-world problem solving. Prior to joining the County Office team, she served as a school principal in South San Francisco and in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before becoming an administrator, she served as a bilingual teacher, professional developer, editor, and writer in a variety of school and corporate educational settings.
